Fast Track Medical (FTS) Fastbreathe™ Thoracic Seal
Regular price$19.85 USDReviews
The FastTrack Medical Solutions (FTS) FASTBreathe Thoracic Seal, is one of the most advanced thoracic seals on the market today boasting numerous improvements over other currently available chest seals.
The FastBreathe Thoracic Seal (FTS) is intended for use in emergency situations to treat penetrating thoracic (chest) wounds that could comprise the pleural space of the thoracic cavity. A penetrating chest injury could lead to a potentially life threatening condition known as Tension Pneumothorax (collapsed lung) if left untreated. This method meets the TCCC & TECC guidelines for treating a penetrating chest wound.
The FTS seal uses proprietary Hydrogel to form an aggressive bond to the skin around the wound, allowing air to escape the pleural cavity and help prevent Tension Pneumothorax. The FTS unique
The FTS unique non-compressible side venting one valve will function under clothing, armor, and coverings. FTS out-performed other chest seals in adhesion (non-peeling) in side by side testing conducted in a recent DoD comparative study. The FTS’ ability to be folded into a compact cube shape, measuring just 4”x4” size allows it to be carried in in most IFAKs and aid bag. Being prepared to help yourself or others during critical times can often mean the difference between life and death. We strongly recommend professional medical training for anyone who owns a medical kit so you know how to use it properly to help save lives.
